The Creative & Brand team at UKG is seeking an experienced, creative, and collaborative Lead Video Editor to play a critical role in producing video and motion content for our people-focused technology brand. If you are a storyteller who has a wholistic understanding of the creative process, strong post-production skills, a deep understanding of design and composition, great attention to detail, and a passion for collaborating, learning, and innovating, then this role is for you.

Reporting to the Manager of Integrated Production, you will join a roster of designers, writers, creative directors, producers, editors, and project managers who sit on an award-winning in-house team at UKG — an organization known for its talented, innovative, and collaborative individuals, inclusive culture, and best-in-class rewards and benefits.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
• Partner with creative teams to brainstorm and conceptualize videos for web, social, events, and many other mediums
• Work both independently and collaboratively to bring concepts to life through video and motion storytelling
• Source footage, music, SFX, and other assets
• Color grade and sound mix final videos
• Work with outside vendors and contractors on specific projects
• Edit podcasts, webinars, and other audio content recorded in our in-house studio
• Be responsible for asset management, archiving, and maintaining the video library
• Champion UKG brand standards and guidelines

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
• At least 7 years of professional editing experience for a production company or agency
• A strong online portfolio showcasing work that includes storytelling and motion graphics is REQUIRED
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Audition, and Media Encoder (experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus)
• Technical experience with audio mixing, color correction, encoding, and file sharing/storage
• Experience using stock sites to search for music, video, photos, and other assets

Preferred Qualifications
• A degree in film, broadcast production, or media
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve
• Experience with graphics/type layout and animation
• Knowledge of social media video formats and best practices
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build relationships with all levels of a large, extended team
• Hands-on experience shooting and knowledge of camera equipment are pluses
