The Learning and Development Specialist will research, develop, design and deliver end-user training and job aid/guide materials for the UKG Customer Success Organization. The training experience includes onboarding of new employees; building internal knowledgebase on our procedures, tools and UKG product experience; and educating on the deliverables of specific roles and soft skills utilizing various learning mediums and methods. The Learning and Development team also partners cross-functionally with other lines of business to understand changes within their businesses so that we can educate Customer Success resources on impacts to their role.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Independently plan, research, design, develop and implement a variety of instructional curricula and educational materials for a blended learning solution to support the Customer Success Organization
• Create learning programs & training content that link organizational and learning needs to competencies, curriculum, and course objectives.
• Work with the Customer Success Leadership team to ensure learning needs are appropriately supported
• Enhance existing learning solutions and programs
• Coordinate, run, and maintain new hire training program
• Continually assess and audit enablement materials through evaluations, feedback, and from business and process changes to recommend revision/modifications to training curricula/materials
• Support the Learning Management System
• Develop & conduct on-site and remote training sessions to cover a variety of topics either independently or with other subject matter experts
• Assist with the identification of team training needs and develop and deliver training in the appropriate format (instructor led, documentation, quick reference cards, videos, and other online content) to meet identified needs
• Provide leadership, professional expertise, and direction in the planning and execution of quality training programs
• Research standards, practices, and trends for leadership development and recommend enhancements to training & development programs
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness and learning that occurs in training events and meetings and action on the feedback results


• Instructional design, curriculum writing, teaching/training, and E-learning course development experience
• Experience working with data and data analysis
• A minimum of three years within a Training and Development role
• Knowledge of instructional design concepts and principles, communication, writing, and end user training
• Knowledge and experience of online teaching, learning methods, and tools such Articulate
• Self-driven with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
• Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading of material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness
• Demonstrated history of superior communication skills, verbal and written, with diverse personalities, technical competency levels, and cultures
• Aptitude to quickly learn existing and new tools/technology
• Become an end user subject matter expert for tools and systems utilized by Customer Success
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organization, planning & problem-solving skills
• Experience with CornerstoneOnDemand is a plus
