Description

We are seeking an experienced Manger with BA and QA experience who can operate independently and take accountability for driving and leading a team of Business Data Analysts and Quality Assurance Analysts as part of the Intelligence Engineering Platforms (IEP) Pillar. As a manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products/services meet the evolving business needs through requirement gathering, data analysis, functional and automated testing strategies. You will collaborate with the other managers in the IEP pillar and across eDnA to support our cross-functional initiatives and corporate UKG objectives.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of 4-7 resources involving Business Data Analysts and QA Analysts of varying experience.
• Help the team develop functional skills over time to prepare them for Business data analyst and QA analyst roles as needed.
• Define, implement & enhance best practices, standards, and methodologies for QA and BDA skillsets.
• Design, implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools.
• Work closely with the analytics and data strategy functions to integrate testing into our operating model.
• Individual should be customer focused and take the end-to-end responsibilities for their team's deliverables including stakeholder management.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for both manual and automated testing.
• Continuously assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automated testing, functional testing and requirement gathering processes.
• Exhibit a high degree of skill in matrix management as well as the ability to influence others.

Qualifications

Skills/Expertise
• 5-7 years of experience in a Functional role such as Business Analysis, Software Quality Assurance Testing creating deliverables like BRD, FRD, Report Specs, Test scenario and test case design etc.
• 1 to 3 years of automation testing experience – defining, building and overseeing the implementation of a proven automation test strategy.
• Minimum of 4 years of manual functional/End to End, regression testing design, UAT and execution with a focus on Data Quality and Analytics
• Experience with industry-standard QA tools and frameworks
• Experience managing, hiring and growing a team is not required but preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Experience in Business Intelligence practices, methodologies and tools as well as understanding of software development processes.
• Functional experience working with business stakeholders in Finance, Sales or Customer Services domains in SaaS industries is preferred.
