About the Team:Our Managers of Business Development play a pivotal role in leading and developing a team of BDRs within our Marketing org! Our BDR’s are instrumental in growing our net-new sales pipeline. The primary focus is identifying, developing, and creating new business opportunities for the Field Sales Executive(s).
About the Role:
The primary focus is to lead a team of individuals who are identifying, developing, and creating new business opportunities for the Field Sales Executive(s).
• Being an integral part of recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Business Development Representatives (BDR)
• Manage and provide effective coaching to BDRs
• Evaluating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and addressing areas of concern
• Lead and Support team members and collaborate with internal stakeholders to consistently improve the team and department
• Help to create/maintain a team-building environment
• Set clear and transparent goals and hold team members accountable for them
• Spend time weekly listening to your team’s prospecting calls
• Utilize Sales and Marketing Automation tools to identify target opportunities your team should be focused on
• Design an effective competitive prospecting strategy keeping abreast of all your competition and ensuring your team is kept well-informed and up to date
• Utilize Salesforce.com and the marketing/sales automation tools to effectively manage expectations and performance
• Hold your team accountable for updating Salesforce.com after each contact in an account regardless of the interaction
• Achieve your team’s monthly assigned field quota as well as quarterly goals
• Identifies team members' strengths and development opportunities
Qualifications
About You:Basic Qualifications:
• 6+ Years of professional work experience
• 2+ years in a successful people leader role
• Experience providing training and ongoing coaching for individual contributors
• Training and/or experience using Salesforce.com or comparable CRM
• Track record of successfully driving team results through accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge in Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Eloqua
• Experience in Recruiting and hiring Business Development Reps
• Experience in Business-to-Business technology company (SaaS/Software preferred, background in sales or lead qualification/generation)
• Monitor team performance by utilizing reporting and marketing tools to monitor and track metrics
• Lead team to achieve Business Development Reps metrics
• Prior experience with MS Excel
