Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Creative Studio, this role will oversee and manage the day-to-day work for one of UKG’s Creative Studio teams. You will guide a team in building trusting relationships with internal and external partners, develop best practices for efficiency and brand consistency and deliver impactful creative solutions that align with our business and marketing priorities. You’ll help plan resourcing, control quality, set creative requirements, engage with external vendors, and collaborate across the Creative Experiences team to set timelines and manage projects. This position requires creative curiosity, flexibility and positivity, and the ability to communicate and influence creative decisions along with the direction of creative team members and business partners. The candidate must exude efficiency and energy to fit in a fast-paced environment that is constantly reacting to evolving business needs.

About You

Ability to lead a mixed-discipline creative team with a focus on generating impactful creative with speed and efficiency

Passion for developing and maintaining brand systems of smart processes, tools, guidelines, and templates that enable creative teams to execute a large volume of work with accuracy and consistency

Demonstrated ability to work within all creative mediums (including digital, direct mail, print, environmental and video) in order to develop integrated marketing campaigns and branded events

Ability to foster collaboration and open communication with internal team members and external stakeholders to exchange ideas, insights, and feedback

Experience collaborating with external partners and vendors to oversee outsourced projects to ensure they meet quality, deadline, and budget expectations

Can effectively develop shared goals, solve problems using an open “how might we” mindset, and evolve your own and your team’s performance through creative critique

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience managing a creative team in agency and/or corporate environment
- 7-10 years of experience developing creative from concept to completion for digital, print, and large-scale events
- 7-10 years of experience translating marketing and strategic briefs into engaging creative strategies and experiences.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS, MS Office, internet environments and industry-standard software programs
- Branded systems, content development, events and vendor management experience
- Video and photography experience with understanding of video/animation file formats and delivery specs
- Understanding of all sides of a creative project (design, digital, video, copy and production)
- Proven ability to evaluate team performance and provide clear creative direction and critique
- Outstanding storytelling and presentation skills
- Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
- Familiarity with web standards and usability
- Highly organized and proactive with a strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

- A portfolio link or work samples must be provided for consideration
