The UKG Ready team is seeking a highly motivated DevOps leader to help accelerate the delivery of customer value. Our team advocates for, facilitates, and builds a DevOps culture to allow our business to scale with technology. We are looking for someone who can assess and improve on our cloud delivery pipelines and lead a global team focused on continuously improving. You’ll need to have strong experience in Google Cloud Platform and a lean approach to delivery.

• Lead a global DevOps team as we look to improve our development and delivery experience
• Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
• Collaborate closely with engineering professionals within the organization to streamline delivery to the cloud
• Help eliminate all manual intervention associated with delivery of value
• Build and maintain tools, solutions and microservices associated with deployment, ensuring that all meet our customer service standards and reduce errors
• Help foster a culture of innovation
• Continuously improve our delivery practices
• Stay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve


• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5-7 years of experience leading teams
• Experience working together with teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed solution
• Experience delivering and managing solutions in a cloud-based environment
• Experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Windows-based infrastructure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, BitBucket, JIRA
• Experience with databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Elasticsearch a plus
• Experience with development languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Groovy, Bash
• Experience with Containers and Kubernetes
• Experience with Agile Delivery, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
• Strong communication skills
