UKG is looking for a self-motivated, proactive Finance Manager with proven ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment to support our growing Finance organization. This position provides financial support for the Digital (IT, Security, Global Risk & Compliance) and EPIC (Engineering, Product, & Cloud) organization and is responsible for planning, forecasting, and ongoing reporting and analysis. The role interacts closely with various individuals from executive management to administrative support; the successful candidate possesses a broad understanding of finance and accounting concepts along with strong analytical and interpersonal skills, preferably with software industry experience.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of financial analysts in the planning and development of the annual budget by collaborating with key stakeholders through analysis of historical data and an understanding of future requirements
• Lead informed data-driven collaborative conversations with functional business management that drive growth, change and innovation
• Establish and report on key business metrics that measure the organization’s progress towards its’ long-term value creation objectives
• Partner with functional business leads to develop headcount, operating expense, and capitalization quarterly forecasts and maintain ongoing communications with groups supported to review actual financial results and discuss forecast assumptions
• Lead the monthly close process and review of detailed account analysis related to Contractors/Consulting spend, Subscription/Maintenance Contracts, Headcount, Internal Use Capitalization, and Capital Expenditures
• Develop and prepare internal reporting packages and presentations that illustrate a well-thought-out story that is backed by strong data points and metrics and provides the business value added insight to enable business decisions.
• Continually identify and execute on internal process improvements and best practices
• Support functional business leaders in strategic initiatives
• Create and collaborate on ad hoc reporting and operational analysis, developing metrics, and modeling business scenarios and assessing and conveying the financial impact of business projects and initiatives

Qualifications

• Experience working as a business partner to operational groups and managing a team
• Ability to lead, influence and drive priorities and collaborate across all levels of the Company to solve business problems
• Strong organizational and analytical skills to understand business requirements and track plan changes
• Effective communication skills; listening, written and verbal; ability to interact and effectively communicate with staff at all levels of the Company
• Thinking imaginatively and intuitively while quickly grasping and synthesizing new ideas
• Capability to drive financial modeling analysis with key attention to detail
• Willingness to perform hands-on analysis as needed
• Strong systems skills; specifically experience with ERP systems and data warehousing tools, Microsoft D365 and IBM TM1 a plus
• Advanced excel skills including strong data manipulation skills, PowerBI a plus
Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training
• B.A. in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and modeling, working in a Technology company preferred
