Description & Qualifications


The IT organization is seeking to add a Salesforce BSA Manager with specific focus on Salesforce production support across multiple clouds i.e. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud. Acting as a liaison between business and technology, creative problem solving, impeccable communication, people management and attention to detail are key skills expected in this role.
As part of the IT Business Applications team, you will lead a team dedicated to supporting, maintaining, and enhancing UKG’S Salesforce solutions. Under your direct leadership, the team will be responsible for supporting, and enhancing existing solutions as well as implementing new solutions that enable an exceptional customer experience. You will collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand business goals and priority and align resources based on those needs. Working in conjunction with other IT Service Teams you will be accountable for the delivery of high quality, scalable end-to-end solutions that support the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities include:
• Manage a team of 4-6 Business Analysts.
• Manage the team that act as first line support for all incoming cases/tickets relating to UKG’s Salesforce implementation. Help them close tickets where possible or triage to next level as needed. Develop a plan to reduce common incidents.
• Mentor and develop the team’s skills in eliciting and documenting quality business requirements.
• Motivate team members to achieve team and individual goals.
• Create a collaborative environment that enables peak performance from team members.
• Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of solutions in the UKG Salesforce instance and understand both upstream and downstream integration points.
• Provide guidance on solution designs and act as an escalation point for solution design decisions, collaborating with the Application Solution Consultants and Technical Leads.
• Manage system license allocations, access, and permissions. Monitoring user usage and license costs against budget.
• Ensure that solutions support long-term corporate goals while delivering maximum incremental short-term benefits.
• Manage stakeholder relationships; understand business priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Provide input to the IT portfolio and Enterprise Systems Roadmap.
• Ensure all IT process standards are followed.
• Proactively recommend improvements for internal IT processes.


• Extensive experience leading a team of BSAs/System Admins. Competencies in team dynamics by leading and motivating to obtain desired results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to work closely and effectively with a diverse group of people and to establish and maintain effective and productive working relationships.
• Well organized and effective time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once to meet deadlines. Project management experience would be advantageous.
• High degree of professional confidence and presentation skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively with executive-level management.
• Thorough understanding of Salesforce clouds, mainly configuration.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform is required.
• Salesforce Certifications Preferred: -
o System Administrator
o Sales Cloud Consultant
o Service Cloud Consultant
o Experience Cloud Consultant
o Business Analyst
• Thorough understanding of one or more of the following IT methodologies:
o Waterfall
o Agile
