The candidate will be both a People Manager and a Program Manager, manages a team of professional-level employees; responsible for staffing and team processes. Adapts plans and sets team goals to meet objectives set by higher-level management. Is accountable for the performance and results of the team. Provides subject matter guidance to direct reports on operational or technical challenges.

As a Program Manager:
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of Program/Project Management principles, theories, and concepts to plan, manage and monitor projects
• Leverage your depth and breadth of experience in the practice of Program Management, including Program Planning, Risk Management, and Program Reporting. Works independently, requiring minimal guidance in complex situations and risks across Services which could impact the schedule or delivery of business value, product qualit, or major features.

As a People Manager:
• Understands current business trends and integrates industry best practices in own team to improve efficiency and effectiveness toward achieving objectives
• Manages priorities and acts as an advisor, responsible for growth and development of direct reports
• Impacts the day-to-day performance and overall results of the team by managing priorities and resources
• Networks with functional area management and with peer managers across the organization
• Models and coaches others around our Ownership philosophy to take initiative that drives progress, not waiting for others to act first; Coaches others around our Insist on High Standards philosophy to listen attentively, speak candidly, treat others with respect and work collaboratively to reach high quality results


Earned a PMP credential from the Project Management Institute
• Drives the vision across cross functional teams to come up with the plan. Reviews project status and ensure progress is in line with overall program goals
• Provides advice and sometimes challenges leadership to consider alternatives which may better benefit UKG. Demonstrates willingness to identify, understand and give priority to meeting the needs of the customer.
• Identifies and takes ownership of opportunities to serve as a thought leader, from the Team level to the Project levels.
• Holds Team members, stakeholders and self accountable for commitments made to the program and to the UKG business. Escalates where necessary to help improve behaviors across the organization.
• Manages program dependencies and ensures stakeholders understand and operate with these interdependencies in mind
• Leads initiatives to improve the way the Global PMO organization operates to help UKG meet the goals of the business across various cross functional teams.
• Contributes to Strategic Planning activities for current Products for upcoming Fiscal Year.
• Identifies, analyzes and facilitates issues/risk mitigation & resolution that have the ability to jeopardize commitments with minimal support
• Creates and delivers presentations, develops communications and communicates to cross-functional audiences both internally and externally
• Manages program delivery effort spanning scrum teams, often across services and functions.
• Communicates complex concepts; anticipates potential objections and influences others to adopt a point of view
