As a Manager of Security Technical Program Management, you will be focusing on our Security portfolio delivery. In this role, you will manage a group of Technical Project & Program Managers and partner with key business leaders (internal and external to your organization) to effectively deliver our security controls and features. It is a pivotal time to join Global Security to help UKG scale to support our Cloud journey.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in building and leading high-performance teams to execute on major initiatives and strategically exceeding objectives. This will require an excellent balance of leadership, organizational, and technical skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Develop, mentor, and coach a high performing team of Technical Program/Project Managers with who are working cross-functionally for effective delivery of security controls and initiatives.
· Manage the workload of your team members based on experience and skills to ensure a fair distribution of workload.
· Set team and individual performance goals that strengthen the individual & team, embrace the responsibility for the success of each individual team member.
· Demonstrate a commitment to facilitate and encourage your team members to closely collaborate, exchange knowledge with their colleagues and grow Global Security’s knowledge.
· Create an autonomous work environment that fosters accountability, transparency, and excellence.
· Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Global Security Program Portfolio, incl. annual & quarterly planning, roadmap formation, metrics & reporting.
· Set portfolio, program. project controls, governance & standards.
· Have a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive to establish frameworks and best practices for methodologies and tooling.
· Understand customer needs and see the big picture to ensure processes scale appropriately.
· Manage expectations for all stakeholders from leadership to individual teams to earn trust and influence teams.
· Possess strong problem-solving/negotiation skills to effectively manage conflict and quickly assess the impact of changes and/or risks to drive creative solutions.
· Scale planning processes, execution frameworks, and risk management for teams while providing visibility to resource allocation/prioritization to management.
· Effectively communicate (oral, written, timely) and negotiate, encourage sound decision-making, and assist the team in successfully delivering on commitments.
· Enforce a succinct/high-quality internal documentation framework. Provide visibility, reporting and key metrics around key initiatives and products within the domain to stakeholders and leadership.
· Possess the ability to manage programs/projects leveraging Agile or Waterfall practices within the PMI framework.
· Facilitate strategic workshops and drive to consensus.
· Partner with the GSIO Director to provide strategic guidance to GS teams, GS leadership, and cross-divisional partners in ways that promote the company’s culture and goals.
· Demonstrate strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across organizations, bridge gaps between teams, and successfully influence without authority.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in leading people
· 7+ years’ experience in successfully leading and managing diverse programs and projects
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
· Empathic and result driven communication skills
· Project Management Certification (PMP).
· Security, HCM, software development and agile methodology experience preferred
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation both written and verbal and listening skills
· Strong negotiations skills: can influence all levels of the organization and is skilled at leading others to action on key initiatives
· Excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills
· Working experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Clarity, Clarizen PPM) JIRA, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project and Office Suite, etc.
· Proficiency with technology
