Description & Requirements

Description

UKG is hiring a Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead experienced hiring within our Engineering teams. We are looking for a recruiting champion who will inspire, grow, and motivate a team of passionate recruiters on strategy, operations, and hiring delivery. As Manager of Talent Acquisition for Engineering, you’ll be accountable for identifying, developing and executing talent strategies and initiatives along with your management peers. You will lead a team of Talent Acquisition Partners supporting the Software Engineering function and will partner with other managers and colleagues around the world to be courageous and challenge the status-quo, taking the appropriate risks that foster innovation.

We are focused on developing forward thinking Talent Advisors who are decision influencers and can constantly evolve and look at new ways to do things that will elevate the candidate and hiring manager experience. You should have a natural curiosity, seeking to evaluate changes in the market and how we can best support the needs of the business.

You will have expertise in ATS systems, sourcing and selection processes, competency-based interviewing, and recruitment marketing tools. You will also be responsible for driving the reputation of a team that delivers against the needs of a complex and growing business. We are a data-driven team, and you will need to leverage metrics to identify areas of opportunity; and then champion and lead solutions accordingly.
We continually strive to be a best-in-class team with people, process and technology. We will constantly evaluate what’s working versus what’s not, understand its impact, and not be afraid to change.
We must work hard for every role and be creative with how we identify and attract talent.

To be successful and have an impact, you’ll need to demonstrate:
• Passion and pride in talent acquisition, with a desire to never stand still!
• A hands-on approach and a willingness to step in and help others
• A strong orientation towards process, ensuring adoption and adherence
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing business priorities
• Ability to problem solve and influence at all levels of the organization
• Self-starter and able to work with little direction
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Examples of introducing new and relevant recruitment and selection practices
• A collaborative working style, partnering with all HR disciplines in a global environment

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in recruiting; 2+ years of experience leading recruiting teams with demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop.
• In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, preferably identifying and hiring talent in the Engineering space.
• Some technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for Software Engineering roles
• Demonstrated expertise in competency-based interviewing
• Strong experience in recruitment KPI’s, reporting and analytics
• A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Good time-management skills
