Description & Qualifications


The Principal Architect will be a member of a team that will define, implement, and enforce an overall architecture practice, including principles and standards. The ability to understand our current and future business processes and strategy and align them to the current and future technology roadmap is an important aspect of the job

• Establish architecture roadmap for UKG Platform integration services
• Drive the execution of an architecture and technology road map for integration platforms that will help significantly improve the reliability, availability, supportability, operability, security, performance and scalability of the service
• Define and lead innovation and technology experiments in public and hybrid cloud at enterprise scale to support system scalability, operability, stability and resiliency
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define and derive the service roadmap
• Provides in-depth subject matter expertise in related domain areas
• Ensures adherence of the development team to the architectural vision and high level design of the product
• Collaborate with cross functional groups in other geographies to understand the business needs, educate them and build solutions to address the needs


• Bachelors/Masters in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience with excellent academics from some reputed college
12+ years software development experience in a fast-paced environment, working through all phases of the software development life cycle
• Possess extensive design portfolios showing high proficiency in any Java based development technologies for SaaS and Multi-Tenant solution
• Experience with industry leading integration platform (like Boomi) will be preferred
• Strong exposure for highly reliable, scalable, secure and decoupled solution
• Strong exposure of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process (CI/CD).
• Create and maintain guidelines, standards, and development processes for user-centric products.
• Experience in detailed analysis, feasibility studies, performance analysis and prototyping.
• Experience in developing Software application for Multiplatform development.
• Experience in object oriented programming and design, Service oriented architecture and design patterns.
