We are currently seeking an experienced Sr Compensation Consultant to join our global Total Rewards Team. As a key member of the UKG HR team, the person hired into the role will lead the strategic deployment of the UKG compensation programs to support UKG’s people first philosophy. Our ideal candidate will possess strong business and compensation skills supporting high technology teams, have a proven ability to collaborate with a diverse group of individuals, and has proven strength with project/program management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Partner and consult with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and leaders on compensation matters and develop and/or recommend compensation programs, policies and practices supporting the UKG Compensation Strategy to achieve desired business results
• Understand the business and related specific market conditions. Build positive relationships across the organization and demonstrate ability to influence clients of all levels on compensation matters
• Identify and generate competitive solutions to complex compensation issues, while counseling and educating the HR team as well as the management team on compensation philosophy and best practices
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and market studies to evaluate the competitiveness of base, variable, and long-term incentive programs. Evaluate analysis results, recommend program changes, model cost impact, and present final recommendations to Human Resources and Business Leaders
• As a core team member, participate in the design and implementation of a global job architecture, and global leveling and pay structure. Effectively drive philosophical and program changes throughout the organization, in conjunction with an evolving compensation strategic plan
• Key contributor to the design and execution of UKG’s annual global base salary and bonus programs
• Contributes to the further development and implementation of compensation tools and techniques that helps the rest of the HR team make appropriate pay decisions
• Remain up to date on legal regulations surrounding compensation issues. Provide advice and recommendations as needed to ensure compliance
• Develop and deliver training for both Human Resources and management on a variety of total rewards programs
• Additionally, this role will be responsible for partnering, mentoring and providing direction to the compensation analysis team


• 8+ years of compensation experience
*****Software/High Technology industry experience preferred******
• CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) highly desirable
• Strong consulting and influencing skills at all levels
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s or MBA (preferred)
• Thorough knowledge and application of compensation/total rewards practices, principles and theories.
• Experience supporting technology groups with a strong understanding of tech. markets - strongly preferred
• Ability to influence the decision-making process and outcome through detailed analysis/models, innovative recommendations, and demonstration of compensation expertise
• Organized, detail oriented, results-driven, flexible, innovative and able to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver projects and programs end to end.
• Effective problem solver through a systematic approach to asking questions, understanding root causes and confidently influencing others
