Description

The Program Manager will provide executive leadership and management of key organizational and strategic business programs. The Program Manager is responsible for organizing/coordinating/leading programs and inter-connected projects related to the program(s). They will oversee strategic execution of multiple project teams, oversee the progress of programs/projects, prioritize, identify overlaps/interdependencies/drive resolution with any issues that arise. The goal of the program manager is to ensure that all programs/projects deliver the desired outcomes outlined by its stakeholders. This position demands exceptional organizational/communication skills, expert level stakeholder management, demonstrated ability to deliver successful program outcomes, coaching/mentoring peer project managers and driving project delivery process improvements.

Responsibilities:
-Manage program status, provide weekly status reports; drive completion of deliverables to target completion dates/desired outcomes as defined by its stakeholders
-Provide visibility/reporting/key metrics around initiatives and deliverables at the program/project levels; communicate changes to all resources in a timely manner
-Manage conflict and tradeoffs; be able to quickly assess the impact of changes/risks to drive creative solutions
-Build strong relationships with team members/internal partners and is highly functional in a dynamic environment; drive conversations with business around success measures and how they tie to the organizational goals; influence management so that they receive the necessary support and resources
-Drive change at every level and function across the organization; set direction/provide frameworks through which improvement objectives can be delivered; recommend people, process and technologies improvements
-Introduce new solutions by analyzing requirements, prepare ROI analyses and establish NEW time schedules; provide short-term/long-term roadmaps/reports/analyses

Qualifications

-Minimum 8 years of previous experience in program management, project management, business experience
-Recent experience with Business Data Analytics projects or Business Intelligence Business Analysis
-Experience working with Data Warehouse constructs and concepts such as database systems, data query tools, data modeling, etc.
-Experience in Data Strategy and/or Data Science is preferred
-Experience in data integration tools and processes
-Excellent organizational, communication and relationship skills, along with innovative thinking
-Analytical, problem solving, decision making, and prioritization and risk mitigation skills are second nature; exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
-Ability to partner and work in a collaborative and/or cross-functional team environment; demonstrate advanced knowledge of Project Management methodologies
-Successful hands-on experience in preparation of project charters, plans, meeting notes and presentations; proven consulting experience and able to present and explain information that establishes rapport and persuades others
-Leads project meetings/working sessions. Successfully manage virtual project teams; proven success in driving complex projects to completion, on time/on budget/within scope; leadership qualities, expertise with effective interpersonal skills, stakeholder management; critical thinking, aptitude to stay current with industry knowledge and how UKG is positioning itself for future growth
-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Certifications like PMP or PgMP or PfMP or PMI-ACP or CCMP are a strong plus
