About the Team:

This position is part of the Resiliency Team within the Enterprise Risk department and is responsible for supporting disaster recovery activities across the enterprise.  The Resiliency team supports the development, maintenance and assurance of the Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Crisis Management capabilities across UKG.

About the Role:

The role offers the opportunity to be engaged in all facets of disaster recovery, including security, privacy, risk, crisis management, and compliance.  The Principal Disaster Recovery Analyst is a highly visible role that interfaces with key stakeholders in the organization and will also support UKG customers and partners. The position demands an organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize and support multiple initiatives; strong communication and customer focus is required. Primary responsibilities include:

• Define DR program scope, strategy, goals, and governance structure (aligned with industry standards) that support the organizations goals and roadmap
• Implement and lead execution of the DR and Technology Resiliency Lifecycle, including Application Impact Analysis, Planning, Testing, and Reporting
• Proactively identify resilience risks and vulnerabilities, and assist with developing actions plans to mitigate
• Partner closely with the technology and functional business teams to drive resilience across UKG operations
• Partner with Business Resiliency Management to identify and report on technology resilience requirements and capabilities
• Partner with Global Security to develop resilient solutions to mitigate against advanced cyber-attacks
• Collaborate with the Cloud and IT teams to integrate DR processes with day-to-day Technology Operations
• Work with and across internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of regulatory or customer-mandated obligations for IT disaster recovery
• Provide oversight to ensure implementation of business-aligned Technology Resilience capabilities for new IT services
• Review and assess completeness of recovery and resilience testing including, timing, scheduling, staffing, adequate execution, documentation, remediation and closure of issues
• Deliver ongoing training and awareness on DR concepts and principles for in scope management and IT staff
• In the event of a significant event, execute DR governance with technical recovery teams including communication to stakeholders and leadership during DR events
• Continuously review current Program processes and identify opportunities to simplify and automate where possible
• Develop strong working relationships and communications with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

About You:

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in related field or equivalent experience with minimum of 10 years overall IT work experience
• 7-10+ years of experience working in disaster recovery, information security, risk management and information security frameworks including ISO27001/27031

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong IT background with technical acumen to include excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of disaster recovery practices and program life cycle
• Ability to collaborate with others to develop disaster recovery plans
• Must have strong organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is critical
