Description & Qualifications


As the Strategic Alliance Manager for India you’ll have the opportunity to manage prominent and strategic partners in the WFM space. You will align to the Global Alliances team and regional sales leadership to craft a vision for local execution of our global partner programs. Collaborating with the territory sales leadership team, the Strategic Alliance Manager will cultivate relationships across priority partners operating within the territory.

UKG’s partner ecosystem is designed to scale and drive value to our sales organization by enabling partners with a deep understanding of our strategic sales objectives and value positioning. You’ll work closely with executives in your territory and partners to ensure close alignment to represent both UKG's and our partners' interests in terms of pipeline development, deal execution, bi-directional education/enablement programs and customer success.

The Strategic Alliance Manager will be the primary contact between UKG’s sales teams and our Partners ensuring Partners of all types, are developing appropriate Go-To-Market activities and awareness in support of the regional sales organization’s goals.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
1.Build an ecosystem of strategic partners within the region in alignment with UKG’s global and regional strategy. In our plan for growth and expansion, strategic partners are of paramount importance. These include large Global System Integrators (GSIs) and major consulting organizations, whose expertise and reach will play a pivotal role in achieving our objectives.
2.Build & drive strategic go to market plans with UKG’s ecosystem of strategic partners for the Indian marketplace.
3.Alignment with marketing to build GTM plans
4.Directly manage strategic regional partnerships and provide local relationship management for global partnerships that aligns to the strategy established by the global alliances management team.
5.Responsible for supporting the designated sales team / market on achieving sales target quota by leveraging partners.
6.Build strong partner relationships with strategic partners in India region.
7.Serve as a sales overlay team with employees aligned to the India sales territory in order to:
a.Deeply understand the needs of our sales teams from a partner ecosystem perspective
b.Be the primary point of contact between our partners and their sales counterparts on account planning and pipeline opportunities.
c.Help extend the value that our customers can achieve working with UKG by leveraging our partner ecosystem of System Integrators, Advisory firms, technology partners and private equity firm alliances.


8+ years’ experience in Business Development, Consulting, Software Sales, and/or Alliance
Proven track record of success with demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including strong presentation skills (including PPT)
Effective collaborator with the ability to quickly build relationship with sales leaders.
Strategic thinker: ability to envision the future for our partners within their area of influence and share that vision broadly.
Team player with the ability to work independently.
Ability to develop trusting relationship – sales & partners.
Self-motivation and strong organizational skills
Ability and willingness to travel (50% +)

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Workforce Management/HCM/Payroll/Benefit sales / sales manager experience
SaaS Sales or Alliances development experience with large strategic partners is a plus
Partnership or Business Development
