Description & Qualifications

UKG is looking to hire an experienced and motivated technologist who possess a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to launch and grow new services for our UKG Dimensions product, while partnering with some of the most recognizable brands across the globe.

Solutions Architects are self–motivated individuals with a proven track record of delivering results in software/technology sales or consulting. We want individuals that demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, create technical definitions around customer objectives in complex situations, develop solution strategies, motivate and mobilize resources, as well as deliver results.

Ideally, you’re someone who can write code with the best of them, but also wants to help guide the broader industry towards a technology you believe in. You have immediate credibility with technologists and developers at all levels, from students to CIOs. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in selecting strategic opportunities to do so.

As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with customers, strategic partners, engineering, and product teams to craft scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our new services. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the Solutions Architect will help organizations understand best practices around integration and customization (through APIs, integrations, reports, workflows etc.) for specific business processes. You are also expected to provide learnings from customer engagements and production analysis back to core engineering team to enhance the Dimension’s core capabilities to better meet the customer’s needs.

Our Solutions Architects are passionate about enabling innovation through usage of SaaS containers in Google, AWS, building web, mobile and report frontends in Dimensions toolset.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in defining solution architecture, development and implementation.
• 5+ years of experience in working with enterprise SaaS applications
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with Java/J2EE stack, with a solid engineering foundation indicated by a demonstrated understanding of product design of complex systems and/or web-based enterprise applications for a SaaS multi-tenant environment
• Client facing and desire to learn new technologies
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks as well as changing priorities
• Ability to recognize issues, take ownership and resolve with minimal supervision.
• Strong background in integrations from software suite and data perspective
• Strong background in assessing business problems and architecting solutions, keeping a wide variety of constraints in mind

In support of our culture, we are adopting a hybrid working model that mixes the flexibility of working 2 days at a UKG office, the balance of the week from home. The offices to choose from are in Lowell MA, Atlanta/Alpharetta GA, Branchburg NJ, Cleburne TX or Weston FL. Also at our Toronto or Montreal sites.
