We are working on a new product which will support our customers in their effort to create and promote an innovative, people-focused culture. With an emphasis on collaboration and accountability, our product will nurture an employee's work journey by personalizing and illuminating their path forward through actionable suggestions, which radically increases both personal job fulfillment and overall employee retention.

This position requires technical excellence with complex and distributed systems, along with a strong ability to communicate both within your team, and across the organization. We work in small teams with daily standups, regular releases, and a culture of ownership. 

• Support and mentor a team of highly motivated engineers, including current and future leaders 
• Focus on data-driven processes that lead to continuous improvement for the team 
• Support the professional, technical, and personal growth of a diverse group of people, with a wide range of experiences 
• Collaborate with Product Management on product strategy & roadmaps 
• Collaborate with the team to set the product and technical roadmaps, along with the plans for achieving them 
• Work with the Project Management team to plan and execute on your team’s initiatives 
• Work with your peers to help support and drive cultural changes across the organization 
• Work with some remote and virtual employees distributed across North America

Qualifications

• 10+ years of previous software engineering experience 
• University degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Passionate about people, processes, and technologies and with the ability to use that passion to inspire and motivate others 
• Strong work ethic with a sense of ownership, urgency, and drive, and an unwavering commitment to do the right thing 
• Proven leadership in facilitating complex discussions to solve problems 
• Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with a diverse array of stakeholders 
• Experience with agile development approaches such as Kanban or Scrum 
• Experience working in an enterprise-scale SaaS production environment
