Primary Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with architects and tech leads to spec, write and deploy code.
• Brainstorm features with product managers and designers and guide decisions based on your knowledge of the codebase by provide estimates on development cycles.
• Help our iOS development team in developing different iOS apps within UKG.
• Test, debug, and maintain the application software throughout the product lifecycle.
• Take ownership of the project through the entire development lifecycle.
• Assist our support team in triaging bugs and solving issues in production in your primary area.
• Mentor junior engineers to hone their skillset.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in iOS Development with experience in building and scaling large enterprise / consumer apps.• Experience working on Web technologies (Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS)
• Good understanding of iOS SDK, Swift, Objective-C
• Strong background in mobile design patterns for iOS
• Knowledge of building iOS application from scratch.
• Working knowledge on AppStore approval process
• Total of 10+ years experience in Software development
• Strong experience with object-oriented analysis, design, and programming
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills and passion for cutting edge mobile technologies
• Tools knowledge: XCode 13 and above, Instruments for profiling.
• Good understanding of software security practices
• Working knowledge in Agile Methodology
• Familiarity with DevOps practices
• Knowledge of Cocoa Touch framework is an asset
• Prior knowledge of software accessibility is an asset
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Concourse, TeamCity) is an asset
