Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and tech leads to spec, write and deploy code.
• Brainstorm features with product managers and designers and guide decisions based on your knowledge of the codebase by provide estimates on development cycles.
• Help our iOS development team in developing different iOS apps within UKG.
• Test, debug, and maintain the application software throughout the product lifecycle.
• Take ownership of the project through the entire development lifecycle.
• Assist our support team in triaging bugs and solving issues in production in your primary area.
• Mentor junior engineers to hone their skillset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in iOS Development.
• Good understanding of iOS SDK, Swift, Objective-C.
• Strong background in mobile design patterns for iOS.
• Working knowledge on AppStore approval process.
• Total of 10+ years experience in Software development
• Strong experience with object-oriented analysis, design, and programming.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills and passion for cutting edge mobile technologies.
• Tools knowledge: XCode 13 and above, Instruments for profiling.
• Working knowledge in Agile Methodology.
• Good understanding of software security practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices
• In depth knowledge of Cocoa Touch framework is an asset.
• Working knowledge of SwiftUI is an asset.
• Knowledge on Cordova and React Native is an asset.
• Prior knowledge of software accessibility is an asset.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Concourse, TeamCity) is an asset.
