UKG is looking to hire Business Analyst in Noida who would be responsible for translating the customer requirements into detailed stories and/or work. The individual should have good exposure to defining the requirements for SaaS based products. The candidate should have great focus towards customer needs, should take full ownership to deliver great results for our customers. The individual would also be involved in defining the work that engineering team will deliver and to provide daily support for their flawless execution.

• Works under the direction of Product Manager/Owner to understand and define product requirements, use cases, epics and sub-epics
• Partner with Product Manager/Owners to understand the application usage patterns
• Candidate should have worked on cloud native SAAS products /applications.
• Good understanding of state-of-the-art Cloud technologies.
• Candidate should have attitude to focus on delivering results, keeping in mind the Big Picture – end to end prospective
• Candidate is expected to insist on high standard deliverable from solution providers and to customers driving, customer focus and customer obsession
• Should be a good team player, builds trust with team, internal external customers
• Works with Product team & architects to finalize feature designs
Represents Product team in stand-ups, grooming sessions and sprint reviews
• Acts as the primary Product “go to” person for the scrum team
• Drive and deliver requirement for SaaS based software products using agile
• Participate in business requirements sessions with customers to identify the relationship of business needs to product features
• Translates business requirements into detailed requirements that can be implemented by software engineers and creates detailed use cases workflows
• Works with engineering teams to ensure teams have information needed during sprints and grooming sessions
• Work directly with engineering to groom user stories for use in Agile development
• Advise QA engineers to create usage scenarios for test
• Accepts scrum team deliverables at the end of each sprint
• Support product documentation
• Excellent organization and documentation abilities
• A natural ability to understand and interpret non-technical customer requirements into very technical engineering specifications
• A natural behavior of inquisition and ability to identify and eliminate requirements ambiguity
• communication skills and a desire to work with people
• The ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities
• Working knowledge of Product Management practices
• Knowledge of system synthesis, analysis, and verification techniques
• General competency in engineering disciplines and methodologies (software engineering, Quality Assurance, system analysis) with an emphasis on requirements elicitation
• Occasional flexibility in working hours to accommodate offshore engineering teams


• Understands the payroll domain and has exposure in US Payroll, tax calculation, tax compliance
• Exposure on Human Resource domain and empathy for target customers
• Must be familiar with Agile development methodologies
• Prior experience in a Product Owner or Business Analyst role, in either Product Development or Information Technology fields
• An expert in translating customer requirements into product requirements. Also, should possess a solid command of use case methodology and requirements gathering
• Good understanding of industry, customers and the state of technology to build better products, assessment of competitors’ products to ensure our product enhancement if required
• An expert in writing plans, specifications & reports, giving presentations, reading & understanding technical material. Good listening & negotiating skills, adjusting the level of details to the audience and modifying the communication style to suit the listener for an effective communication
• Good to have working knowledge of JIRA tool
