Description

As a Product Manager Business Analyst, you will work with our external and internal customers to define, analyze, and document custom application and feature solutions for new and existing customers. Projects require specific product knowledge, requirements interpretation and definition, and analytical design. Business Analysts are occasionally called upon to act as a Quality Analysts to assist with functional testing custom applications when needed. Embedded within a development team, you will work side by side with other Business Analysts, Quality Analysts and Developers to create applications and validate quality. In our highly collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to continually grow as a business analyst and eventually help mentor others.

• Work directly with external and/or internal customers to define, analyze, and document business requirements for custom software applications
• Elicit information about business processes, use cases, and necessary data models to identify solutions that are efficient and provide customer value
• Interpret user requirements based on a given business need
• Facilitate requirements gathering and analysis sessions
• Negotiate requirement priorities across project stakeholders
• Develop “trusted adviser” relationships with clients to instill trust
• Create clear and concise documentation that serves the needs of both the client and UKG audiences
• Ensure customer understanding of requirements at various organizational levels
• Collaborate with multiple internal resources to design solution and ensure project team understanding
• Implement change-control, ensure scope is maintained, and escalate major scope changes as warranted
• Provide regular project status updates to client and project management
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects to meet client delivery dates
• Provide input on customs development methodology and process improvements
• When needed, test completed project against specification prior to project being delivered to client and facilitate user acceptance testing
• Ability to travel to annual team conference

Qualifications

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with applicable UKGPro Software Products
• Knowledge of database concepts and Relational Database Systems
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Knowledge of business process, analysis, and specification writing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage expectations of self and others
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment
• Prior consulting experience
• Strong change control, task management and time management skills
• Experience with API’s, Microservices, Web Services and/or Forms
• Experience working directly with customers and end-users

Preferred Skills
• Agile/Kanban experience
• Experience with Payroll and Human Capital Management
