Description
As a Business Analyst at UKG in the Payroll and Tax area you are an essential member of a cutting-edge agile team responsible for the delivery of mission critical functionality in our innovative cloud based Human Capital Management (HCM) software solution UKG Pro.Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Continuously delivering high value to customers by creating innovative solutions
• Works with internal and external stakeholders to understand the HCM/Payroll business problems our customers face and the jobs they need to complete as part of their specific roles
• Owns requirements definition and direction of features and enhancements
• Defines stories and conditions of acceptance with internal and external stakeholder input, as well as input from development partners (UX Designers, Developers and QA)
• Responsible for requirement prioritization and evaluating trade-offs
• Participates in customer meetings to get a better understanding of customer ideas/issues
• Communicate with multiple stakeholders including customers, prospects, as well as various internal stakeholders and synthesize multiple inputs to ensure business problem or opportunity is fully understood
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 or more years of experience in a Product Owner or Business Analyst role or, a support role in payroll and/or tax
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4 or more years of experience in payroll and/or tax (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with development partners and communicate complex concepts to internal and external stakeholders with excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to quickly understand the dynamic business and evolving compliance needs of our customers through strong analytical skills
• Experience in partnering and working in a collaborative team environment to solve business problems
• Demonstrated leadership, analytical, decision-making, and team building skills
• Demonstrated ability to think imaginatively and intuitively while quickly grasping and synthesizing new ideas
• Exceptional partnership skills with ability to inspire and lead development team without management authority
• Excellent organizational and time management skills required to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
