The Product Manager for the Accelerated Product Development team is responsible for defining and executing the customer, competitive, and product strategy for our customer-facing solutions. Through customer community management and ongoing development of our platforms, the Product Manager should exhibit total ownership of our current product and custom capabilities and future direction. This role does have direct people leadership responsibilities, working with multiple Business Analysts focused on story development and backlog grooming for rebuilding common customs as either product features or reusable customer specific solutions.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
• Understand the type of customs and apps we are building and how this might impact our current product and customer needs and market trends.
• Define and maintain a measurable and KPI-driven product strategy and feature roadmap--inclusive of that market and customer analysis--for the development, evolution, and transformation of the customs we are building.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships across the UKG Product user communities.
• Prioritize features and development efforts based on strategic customer and business needs.
• Work with Business Analysts focused on story development and backlog management.

Other Responsibilities and Tasks Related to Feature Development Work:
• Maintain and share Product Roadmaps with various teams.
• Maintain key business reports and metrics that define and measure what types of customs are being built monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Own and maintain the Custom Template Home Space.
• Manage, organize and socialize a list of current and desired custom templates, including organizing them by Product Domain, prioritizing and sharing amongst the Custom Development team, Product Owners and other stake holders who are dependent upon Customs.
• Coordinate and lead quarterly outreach meetings with Pre-Sales, Relationship Managers and Product Owners with the intent to review the current list of custom templates and feature backlog and collect and document feedback on requirements and priorities.
• Attend and participate in daily team stand-up meetings and monthly iteration planning meetings
• Provide team assistance, as needed, with feature development tasks that include and not limited to documenting requirements and testing.

Other Responsibilities and Tasks Related to Custom Development Work:
• Participate in Custom Development work in a Business Analyst role, as needed, by gathering requirements and creating Custom specification documents.
• Assist and backup Custom Development solution architects, as needed, with custom solution reviews and estimating.


Required Qualifications: (If a Bona Fide Occupational Qualification, otherwise it is preferred)
(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
• 3-5 years of Product Management in software product development, exhibiting full ownership of the product lifecycle from idea to support cases
• Proven track record of cultivating large, vibrant user communities
• Experience managing small teams; be a player-coach.
(Experience, Education, Certification, License and Training)
• Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5-7 years of Product Management at enterprise-level SaaS organizations
• Experience in evolving and transforming enterprise technology ecosystems
• Demonstrable training and skills with IBM Cognos, knowledge of new entrants and market leaders
