We are searching for an individual who thrives on building great products and enjoys working in an agile environment to lead products from ideation to delivery. This individual is skilled at serving and partnering with key stakeholders–internal customers, development teams, Quality, and release management. This person also has a passion for automation and fulfilling our product vision to help developers realize the full potential of how they code and build our amazing HCM products.

The product manager defines and evangelizes the overall strategy and vision for a single product/product area.  They understand the customer and market needs and drive development priorities to maximize the product value. This product manager will drive the strategy and represent the Build product line within the Developer Experience organization; focusing on providing the tools and services that make our internal development teams successful as they code and build UKG products.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supports definition of the product strategy and direction of investment as it relates to the how internal development teams BUILD their products
• Articulates clear product vision aligned to the overall strategy for UKG’s internal Build Tools.
• Serves as the voice of the customer and takes an outside-in approach leveraging customer interaction, industry trends, and technological considerations as a foundation for product direction and decision making.
• Able to clearly communicate the vision and priorities clearly to different teams and stakeholders. 
• Serves as expert on current state of the product with relevant metrics, benchmarks, and usage data.
• Defines the roadmap for the Build product line and empowers the team to fully own and develop the features.
• Monitors and analyzes user trends to develop new tools, offerings, and processes.
• Maintains continued awareness of new technology and compliance/audit changes.
• Creates and collaborates on feature overviews, detailed designs, documentation and prototypes, using Agile methodologies.
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence internal partners.
• Inspires engineering and UX in order to build products internal customers love.
• Fosters a strong product culture for the entire team based in best practices for discovery.
• Strong stewardship of the product investment and ability to make decisions with competing priorities.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years technology Product Management experience
• Preferred 1-3+ years knowledge of HCM or SAAS product
• Comfortable and experienced presenting to all size audiences and levels
• Strong business acumen and internal partnership skills
• Preferred experience with Cloud
• Strongly preferred experience with source code management and CI/CD practices
