Description

The mission of Global Services Operations (GSO) is to unlock productivity and accelerate execution by connecting people, process, technology and performance. A solid and strong partnership exists under the Global Delivery Services (GDS) umbrella which includes: Delivery Services, Services Innovation & Advisory, Services & Strategy, and Technical & Advanced Services.

Within the GSO family, you’ll find a small yet impactful team called GSO Ancillary Programs. Through innovation and service excellence – we strive to enhance the operational and people experience within GDS.
Behind the scenes and alongside the GDS leadership team, we are all about taking care of our people. Our team’s services and passions reside in the areas of operational support, people initiatives, and event productions. We can’t do this alone without collaborating with other corporate groups including Human Resources, Information Technology, Communications, Learning, People Events, and AV Services.

We have a unique position requiring the exceptional talents of a seasoned Project Manager to support the mandate and offerings of our team. It will also include special assignments in various GSO areas and will have interaction at all levels of the organization including Senior Leadership.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Project management of operational initiatives our team owns or supports that are envisioned and executed by organizational need. These are typically projects of moderate to large size and complexity, which may be one time only or ongoing. Some of our current and continually changing initiatives include GSO projects, GDS Achieving Services Excellence initiatives, management reporting, and operational process and system improvements.
• Events management of GDS team and divisional virtual and onsite events. Partnering closely with the Learning Team, People Events Team, AV Team, and Communications. Some of our current and continually changing engagements include supporting meeting logistics and communications for All Hands Meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews, Leadership Meetings, and focus groups.

Qualifications

Whether you are working on day-to-day operational duties, team/divisional events, or special assignments – not only are you talented – you hold a sense of passion and professionalism that truly demonstrates Our Purpose Is People.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a business discipline (HR, Finance, Project Management).
• 3+ years of project management and events management experience.
• Proven success of leading and managing multiple complex operational and strategic business projects concurrently.
• Proven success in leading or supporting team and divisional events including logistics and communications.
• Team oriented attitude for successful collaboration.
• Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Well organized, detail oriented, accurate and a high level of follow-through.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and partnering skills to succeed in the liaison activities with executives, leaders, employees across departments, inside and outside the organization.
• Professional skills utilizing project management methodologies.
• Strong hands-on experience in preparation of all project documentation, including plans, meeting notes, presentations, reports and dashboards.
• High proficiency of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Smartsheet, reporting tools, and collaborative project management tools.
