Description
As a Software QA Engineer, you’ll be embedded on one of our Payroll development teams. You will be engaged in feature development focused on implementing new Tax Legislation support within our products, including our Calculation Engines, while also reproducing and testing customer-found defects, along with writing .NET and SQL test automation. You will get to work directly with other Developers, Quality Engineers, Business Analysts, and occasionally our support teams in a highly collaborative environment. You will have the opportunity to grow as a software tester and help instill in others a passion for quality enterprise development.Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute and deliver on test plans and reports.
• Execute different testing methodologies (Performance, White and Black Box testing)
• Write automated tests using C# or any other OOP (Object Oriented Programming) language and/or automated testing tools (Selenium, TestComplete)
• Develop and execute acceptance criteria for complex technical functionality
• Document test efforts and communicate results to a variety of technical/non-technical individuals

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:• Prior experience with a CI system (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with the SDLC
• 2-3 years of Manual testing AND Some understanding of automated tests using C# or automated testing tool (Selenium, TestComplete)
• Ability to code basic SQL
• 2 - 4 years’ experience with creating documentation and communicating results to both a technical and non-technical audience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Computer Science/Business undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical problems in practical terms.
• Excellent Problem solving skills
• Ability to write basic SQL queries a plus
• High comfort level in coordinating your effort and exchanging ideas with your peers.
