About the Program

UKG’s Intern Academy program is dedicated to helping college students jump start their business careers at a top-ranked technology company that cares about its people. Our interns work on enriching projects that have a significant business impact on the future of our company. In addition to your day-to-day work with your team, interns get to experience our award-winning culture through mentorship, learning programs, team-building activities, networking events, and more. We have big ideas — and need big thinkers with diverse perspectives to help us realize them.

About the Sales Track

As an intern in the Sales Track, you will play a pivotal role in empowering our sales teams. This comprehensive experience encompasses both sales operations and sales development aspects within a global technology sales team. Responsibilities may include:

•Developing compelling value propositions for client product demonstrations
•Crafting and maintaining sales support and training materials
•Designing internal communication templates
•Collaborating on data analysis and reporting
•Generating new leads and assessing their suitability for the sales team
•Engaging with potential clients, extending invitations to webinars and events, and participating in employee calls
•Assisting in the sales process through activities like role-playing, cold calling, and managing accounts in Salesforce
•Building connections with nationwide sales professionals, creating LinkedIn projects and communication templates, and contributing to the interviewing process for sales candidates


Basic Qualifications:
•Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or another related field
•Able to commit to a full-time internship for 12 weeks
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:
•We prioritize rising juniors and seniors for this internship program as we view it as a potential talent pipeline for future full-time roles within our organization
•Working knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms (Ex: Salesforce)
•Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage and connect with internal and external teams

UKG is unable to sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for our internship program, including students on temporary sponsorship through CPT. All applicants must be eligible to work in the US with no restrictions.

Pay Transparency for Colorado, New York, Washington and California

The pay range for this position in Colorado, New York, Washington and California is $20 to $25 per hour however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation. San Francisco Bay Area Pay Law

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area, the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $20 to $25 per hour
