As part of the TOPS organization, The Scrum Master is responsible for applying a servant leadership mindset when working with scrum teams, and facilitating sprint ceremonies with a keen focus on helping teams leverage agile principles, practices and frameworks in order to deliver high quality products on time.
• Coordinates a cross-functional agile development teams utilizing the principles and tools of the scrum framework
• Works as a servant leadership to develop and support a self-organized team to complete scrum projects
• Develops knowledge of the Dimensions SDLC and helps scrum teams come up to speed on developing sprint release plans, ensure the Definition of Ready has been met, and that teams understanding what it means to meet/reach the Definition of Done
• Guides multiple embedded software development teams to deliver technology solutions through effective application of the Lean/Agile principles and frameworks including SAFe, Scrum and Kanban methods
• Facilitates daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, demo and retrospective meetings, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, calculating velocity
• Support teams and stakeholders by providing Jira agile boards, dashboards, and sprint metrics
• Applies servant leadership mindset to improve collaboration and self-organization
• Works with Product Owner and Team on backlog refinement and prioritizations
• Identify risks, impediments and cross-team dependencies and manage through scrum of scrums, identifying and supporting mitigation activities by working with teams, engineering leadership and product management
• Facilitates all sprint ceremonies with a keen focus on helping teams develop healthy scrum practices to facilitate their delivery of quality products
• Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
• Assists with internal communication, improve transparency, and share information
• Plays an active role during team meetings and presentations, making contributions, and building knowledge of the scrum master role within UKG’s culture
• Collaborates in the community of practice


• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of experience working with scrum teams in agile software development programs
• Certified Scrum Master, a plus
• Working experience with Atlassian Tool Set (JIRA, Confluence)
• Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in scaled agile frameworks, a plus
