As a Security Technician I reporting into the Security Engagement and Relations Team, your goal is to help customers and internal employees with both security issues related to the UKG Pro product and general IT Security issues. Working from a case queue, you will proactively reach out to customers and internal employees to raise their awareness to security related events, feature and configurations. Additionally, you will react to customer and employee Security questions and observations related to the use of our products and daily operations.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with various internal stakeholders in working to facilitate, isolate, qualify, resolve or provide security solutions for problems reported by customers.
• Provide outstanding quality support to internal and external customers with a high degree of satisfaction and technical expertise, with thorough and timely response.
• Acquire, maintain, and expand knowledge related to customer configurations and product use for various products and services UKG delivers on.
• Documents technical escalations intended to be sent to other teams to ensures a smooth transition of issues when issues are beyond your ability to resolve.
• Initiates Personal development and traceable efforts made to expand self-development in the Cyber Security field


Required Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of UKG Pro Security features (Role based security) preferred
• Familiarity with general security features available to UKG customers (MFA; IP Filtering: SSO; various security settings) preferred and can explain basic Cyber Security concepts
• Team player: collaborative, seeks input, accepts and incorporates feedback from others, and freely offers assistance
• Experience in handling difficult or sensitive situations with customers.
• Understands and can explain basic security concepts and cloud computing to a person who is not familiar with these concepts.
• Ability to conduct research and navigate internal documentation and subsequently apply knowledge to case closures
• Ability to follow team talk tracks related to sensitive and delicate conversations
• Possesses a clear and understandable pattern of speech and writing skills consistent with the needs of a technical support position.
• Has a proven track record of having tough customer conversations and has shown the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred to have had work experience and knowledge of HR and/or Payroll functions
• Preferred to have had work experience in technical/ security customer support position

Preferred Qualifications:
• Preferred to have had work experience and knowledge of HR and/or Payroll functions
• Preferred to have had work experience in technical customer support position
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred to have a related Technical or Cyber Security Certificate
