UKG is looking to hire an experienced technologist who possess a unique balance of technical depth, hands-on development and strong creative skills. This person will help launch market leading solutions by combining UKG products with enterprise strategic partners, human capital management ISVs, or other vertical partner solutions. This Senior Architect is a self–motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering results in software/technology and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and jump into doing the work. We want an individual that demonstrates the ability to think strategically, create technical solutions leveraging our API and integration tool sets and develop solution strategies.

Ideally, you’re someone who can write code with the best of them, but also wants to help guide the technology partner strategy leveraging our modern SAAS platform. As a Senior Architect at UKG, you will partner with customers, strategic partners, engineering, and product teams to build flexible and resilient architecture and applications that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our new services. In collaboration with product management, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers. As a trusted customer advocate, the Solutions Architect will help organizations understand best practices around integration and customization (through APIs, integrations, reports, workflows etc.) for specific business processes.

Our Senior Architect is passionate about enabling innovation through usage of SaaS containers in Google, AWS, building web, mobile and report frontends in the product toolset.

•Influence and support the product direction and roadmap for this products Integration and API capabilities.
•Provide innovative solutions leveraging APIs to address business problems
•Work with management to drive requirements into solution designs that meet client needs.
•Work closely with our Technology Partners on planning and product integration of their enterprise applications.
•Research and listen to customers and stakeholders and leverage findings in the form of robust architectural designs; Participate in the entire lifecycle of the product, working closely with development teams from product initiation to delivery.
•Build strong cross-functional partnerships at multiple levels within the company, including with engineering, product management, and services.
•Facilitate the cross functional organization readiness and launch plans for the integration offering.

Qualifications

•A minimum of 17+ years’ experience in software development with increasing architectural responsibility for commercial software products – preferably as a senior architect for cloud solutions.
•A solid engineering foundation indicated by a demonstrated understanding of product design of complex systems and/or web-based enterprise applications for a SaaS multi-tenant environment.
•Strong track record of architectural leadership manifested through successfully completed SaaS products that yielded competitive advantages in their respective markets, ideally in growth company environments.
•Ability to work collaboratively across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels to drive results and to influence others.
•Experience with cloud technologies - AWS, GCP and/or Azure
•Hands-on experience building and operating highly-available, high-traffic web service
•Experience with modern containers and CI/CD frameworks - Docker, Kubernetes and GKE
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand customer requirements and work with team to design effective solutions
•Experience with microservices architecture, including designing and developing multi-tenant applications using tools for containerization and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes.
•Have a complete view of the DevOps software development lifecycle. Architecting not only the code, but the pipelines, operations and quality strategy for software.
•Provide expert-level troubleshooting and design / development guidance to development teams facing complex architecture needs.
•Ability to design and build with a resiliency first mindset. Design solutions that meet the current industry standards of cloud best practices
