The Senior Business Data Analyst will join the Sales Analytics team that supports the UKG Global Sales organization. The Sales Analytics team is responsible for delivering reporting and analysis to drive business decisions to influence go-to-market strategy, sales productivity, sales effectiveness, customer segmentation and sales coverage.The Senior Business Data Analyst will be a key member on the team, responsible for developing new reports and maintaining existing reports. S/he will work with the Sales leadership to understand business needs, pull data from multiple sources, and integrate them to provide succinct reports/dashboards to the business users.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Develop new reports for the Sales executive and management team that are easy to understand, actionable and provides key insights
• Able to identify the right metrics and right data source to address the business problem
• Work with Sales users to gather business requirements
• Support ongoing data updates, report maintenance and administration
Qualifications
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, & strong interpersonal skills• Deep understanding of B2B Sales process, strong business acumen and systems and drivers
• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work well within deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues
• Experience working with different data sources for Sales including Salesforce, territories and Financial
• 1-2 years’ experience writing SQL queries to pull data from SQL Server or Oracle DB
• Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint required. Experience with Alteryx, Power BI preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business or a related field
