About the TeamThe Value Stream Acceleration Services team, part of the Engineering, Product, Innovation and Cloud (EPIC) organization, is responsible for serving a portfolio of value streams that feed into an enterprise SaaS product, with the goal of accelerating the delivery of value to customers. The team is composed of highly skilled practitioners who have expertise in their respective areas and work collaboratively to ensure that value streams are delivering maximum value. About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sr Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team, working in partnership between the EPIC organization and the CX Strategy & Execution Team. You will be tasked with driving analytic insights based on our customers’ and internal team member experiences with UKG across the customer life cycle. This role will assist with the analysis of quantitative and qualitative feedback and behavior data to answer important business questions in order to support UKG’s product and service experience and fulfill our mission of “Our Purpose is People”.
Qualified candidates are highly motivated and solution-driven and possess a drive to empower and support UKG to deliver a high standard of products and services to our customers. The candidate will have a strong background in data analysis (quantitative and qualitative), high attention to detail, excellent time management ability, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and synthesize feedback and behavior data to answer business questions and determine ROI
• Clean and prepare data, including merging data sets
• Collaborate with the CX Strategy & Execution and EPIC Teams to understand analysis requirements and context
• Present analysis results clearly with a focus on key takeaways
• Partner with Business Intelligence and other cross-functional teams to make connections between data visualization tools in order to show impact on business goals in an automated and streamlined manner.
• Create and maintain data processing guidelines and documentation
• Form collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and team members
• Function effectively in a high-paced environment
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications• Bachelors Degree in Data Analytics/Science, Statistics, Business/Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or equivalent required
• Proficiency with using a variety of approaches to analyze data, such as regression, correlation, cluster analysis, statistical significance tests, etc.
• Experience cleaning, merging, and structuring data sets for analysis
• Experience performing data analysis in R is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with data analysis, a plus if in a high-tech or B2B SaaS environment
• Experience with feedback and behavior tools - Pendo & Qualtrics is a plus
• Experience using data driven platforms and building queries - SQL and Big Query is a plus
• Experience in analyzing unstructured data/text analytics a plus
• Strong data visualization skills
• Ability to ask relevant questions to understand requirements and context, as well as ability to receive and incorporate feedback
• Familiarity with analyzing survey and behavior data in a business context
• Ability to clearly present results of data analysis to non-experts
• High degree of time management skills and organization and ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in high-pressure situations
• An insatiable intellectual curiosity combined with superior problem-definition and problem-solving skills and sharp attention to detail and high personal standards for accuracy, quality, and thoroughness
• Ability to work independently to execute all tasks without day-to-day supervision
• Interest or experience in customer experience (CX) is a plus
