Description

The primary mission of the Senior Business Process Analyst role is to gather information on and document processes in multiple UKG departments so that the Business Operations Team’s data accurately represents what happens in the business. Data governance and Master Data Management are critical to the business’ success as merger integration activities commence. The pace of process change throughout the business unit requires a dedicated person to analyze process, track changes, alert stakeholders to downstream impacts and identify opportunities for improvement.

This role requires talent and passion for collaboration and will be working with skilled data analysts, process/system owners and product and development subject matter experts in creating sustainable robust processes. Skills essential to this role are organization, documentation experience, written and verbal communication, experience with data and reporting. A disciplined approach to learning and absorbing the current processes specific to UKG is needed, which will help in shaping more efficient processes in the future.

What to expect:
• You will focus on gathering requirements from the Business Operations and the data team, identify stakeholders within the business, and design new processes to support quality data capture.
• You will work cross functionally between product, development, cloud, enablement, finance, and other organizations to ensure inter-organizational processes are documented and meet the data team’s requirements.
• You will have to manage competing priorities and stakeholder needs. The ability to prioritize work will be critical to your success in this role.
• You are a mix of analytical, technical, and operational, but above all, a team player.
• You are a clear, confident communicator who loves taking a complicated problem, decomposing it, solving it, and getting stakeholder buy in on the solution.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:
• Degree in STEM or an analytical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a process role or equivalent.
• Advanced Excel experience.
• Intermediate SQL experience.
• Advanced process creation, documentation and improve experience.
• Polished communication skills and comfort and experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing processes, data systems, improving business metrics in a resource-constrained environment.
• Ability to learn business processes quickly and identify inefficiencies through analysis.
• A self-starter with the ability to quickly respond to problems independently and consider all stakeholder needs.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working with a data team.
• 5+ years process creation, documentation, and improvement experience.
• Six Sigma or similar certifications.
• MBA or equivalent experience.
