Description & Qualifications


The Senior DevOps Engineer will develop internal tools to enable quick, reliable, and automated delivery of our SaaS products to private and public cloud environments. This role involves development of full-stack web applications, APIs, pipelines, shell scripts, testing frameworks, and automated reports and dashboards. In this role, you will deliver incremental features monthly, and be expected to document, test, release, and support their implementation.
• Key languages and tools we use include C#, JavaScript/Typescript, SQL, Bash, PowerShell, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes configurations
• In support of our culture, we will be adopting a hybrid working model later this year that offers work-from-home flexibility and a physical presence in the office 2-3 days per week
• Be a trusted member of a software development team, interacting with teammates daily to drive productivity and build morale
• Develop and release software features and fixes multiple times each month
• Provide technical support to customers that use the released software and tools
• Develop tests to validate software function
• Use a Lean/Agile methodology to visualize progress within the software life cycle
• Attend a brief daily meeting to synchronize the team priorities and communicate progress/barriers
• Regularly research and propose process and technical innovations
• This role is based out of our offices in Weston, FL


• Experience developing software with an Agile or Lean methodology
• Experience writing, deploying, and managing containerized applications using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines in one or more of: GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Concourse, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of Git and GitHub, Gitlab, or Bitbucket
• Comfort in moving between object-oriented software development and script programming
• Experience with SQL
• Familiarity with application logging, monitoring and metrics tools, such as ELK, Influx, and Grafana
• Experience developing in C#, JavaScript/Typescript, PowerShell, Bash preferred
• Micro-service architectures preferred
• Experience with GCP preferred
• More than 3 years of experience successfully delivering software solutions
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
