An exciting opportunity to join a high-performance Human Resources team located at our Global headquarters in the Crosspoint facility in Lowell, Massachusetts. The Senior Director, Global Compensation role will report to the VP, Global Total Rewards and provide leadership, expertise, and strategic direction to drive best in class compensation and equity programs for U Krewers.
• Oversees global compensation programs and infrastructure related to base salary, annual bonus and equity compensation. Ensures effective design, planning and delivery to support business objectives and talent strategies.
• Designs and develops competitive base and variable pay structures and policies; ensures alignment to our global career framework, competitive benchmarking methodology, pay for performance philosophy and overall compensation strategy.
• Oversees the annual compensation planning program and related work streams including the design, resource allocation, project management, and communication planning. Collaborates with cross-functional areas such as HRIS, Talent Management, and Corporate Communications.
• Works closely with the VP, Global Compensation on executive compensation analyses, program design, and preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.
• Drives continuous process improvement and operational excellence, with an innovative mindset, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of compensation program delivery.
• Lead efforts to develop governance processes to ensure consistency and alignment to our compensation strategy, framework, and related policies and guidelines.
• Develop proactive measures and processes to ensure pay equity.
• Supports all M&A strategy and integration efforts.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of compensation strategy and programs through data-based insights. Develops metrics/measurements in partnership with our talent analytics team; regularly analyzes trends to inform effectiveness, identify opportunities, and guide decision-making.
• Leads a global team of compensation and equity leaders and professionals providing training, coaching, and guidance; encourages and supports individual talent development.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation policies, procedures and program administration globally. Ensures the team is conducting regular audits and maintaining required resources related to current policies and regulations.


• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in global compensation with 5+ years previous leadership experience; including 2+ years in a leadership role of a mid-sized to large global organization
• High Tech / Software industry experience preferred.
• Equity compensation and program administration experience highly desirable.
• Deep experience in executive compensation and preparation of compensation committee materials.
• In-depth domain knowledge and demonstrated experience in job evaluation, job architecture, market pricing, benchmarking, salary structure design and development, pay for performance, incentive compensation required.
• Ability to build solid collaborative cross-functional relationships. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the demonstrated ability to dissect and identify core questions/issues and then apply creative problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and inspire a team to achieve results.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and ability to effect change and continuous improvement through process, technology optimization and automation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in simple terms to various audiences.
• Advanced excel skills. Strong power point skills with the ability to build audience-specific presentations.
• Keeps apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations and ensures that all compensation programs are compliant with regulations.
