We are looking for a Finance leader who has analytics and business partnering top of mind with a strong background in GAAP accounting.
This role focuses on but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
• Strategic business partner to the Group Vice President of Customer Success and Employer Services enabling he and his leadership team with data and insights to help drive gross margin improvement.
• Responsible for overall compliance of the GAAP financial statements for the SaaSHR business unit, including the basis of preparation, as required for regulatory purposes for the Company to be licensed as a money transmitter for its payroll business.
• Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and long-term financial modeling for the Customer Success and Employer Services organizations.
• Lead informed data-driven collaborative conversations with functional business management that drive growth, margin improvement, change and innovation.
• Establish and report on key business metrics that measure the organization’s progress towards its’ long-term value creation objectives.
• Develop and prepare internal reporting packages and presentations that illustrate a well-thought-out story that is backed by strong data points and metrics and provides the business value added insight to enable business decisions.
• Support functional business leaders in strategic initiatives.
• Lead/enhance/mentor a global team, including being willing to work side-by-side with your team while balancing the need to work on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in a combination of FP&A and Accounting roles
• Previous public accounting experience and financial statement preparation experience
• Experience working as a partner to senior business leaders in operational groups
• Ability to lead, influence and drive priorities at the business executive level as well as build relationships and collaborate across all levels of the Company.
• Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong results orientation and accountability with the ability to solve problems and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
• An undergraduate business degree in accounting or finance is required, MBA or CPA preferred.
