Description
This position will report to the Manager of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, with a primary responsibility of contributing to the timely and accurate preparation of internal and external financial information in compliance with US GAAP. The role will be involved in the preparation of consolidated financial reporting for external stakeholders such as lenders, UKG investors, state licensing agencies, and customers. This role will work in a lean, high-growth and results-oriented environment, with frequent interaction with the Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, and some visibility to higher levels of the Accounting organization.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare quarterly and year-end financial reporting to the Board, Private Equity Owners, Lenders and others.
• Prepare required debt compliance package reporting and required reporting to state licensing agencies.
• Assist with performing research on public company competitor SEC filings and disclosures.
• Assist in initiatives to enhance control compliance with US GAAP as needed.
• Assist the team with applicable technical accounting matters, special projects and ad-hoc requests, as necessary.
• Assist in the audit of the financial statements with the external auditors and support concluding the audit in a timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3 - 4 years’ experience in public accounting, financial reporting and/or accounting in a corporate environment, or a combination thereof
• Clear and demonstrated understanding of US-GAAP financial statements
• Excellent attention to detail and proven organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• CPA Certification
• Working knowledge of accounting literature
• Exposure to high-tech industry in a multi-national organization
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other large ERP/Accounting package
• Highly motivated, reliable, and accurate
• Ability to “drill down” and investigate issues
• Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask to meet the requirements of internal and external “customers”
• Ability to interact cross-functionally and with different levels within the organization
