Description

• Research, design, test, and evaluate technologies for building reactive, event-driven systems to meet complex demands.
• Create architectural and technical designs for complex features
• Responsible for maximizing the maintainability and extensibility of the solutions
• Mentor developers on the team, fostering an environment of continued learning and improvement
• Empower the team to deliver quality software in a timely manner and continuously improve the development process
• Write high-quality code, that is supported by an appropriate level of testing and metrics
• Enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a diverse group of people partnering effectively with the team members, partners, and customers
• Strive to reduce complex environments and designs to clean and simple implementations
• Dive and troubleshoot complex implementations and orchestrations
• Work with other team members to evaluate frameworks, services and applications that support our deployment goals
• Participate in standups, architecture reviews and planning meetings
• Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues that are escalated to the engineering team
• Document internal and external information for use by the team and customers
• Manage ambiguity and raise issues and impediments when blocked
• Share learnings and pains with the broader group

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ engaging and working with cross-functional enterprise level software development projects using Agile development methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum
• Experience working with Identity and Access Management , Forgerock family products like AM, IDM and DS
• Strong experience working with Java, Spring, GO lang CI/CD, SAML, OAUTH, OpenID Connect, Ldap protocol
• Experience building event-driven, reactive microservices (CQRS) with RabbitMQ or Kafka Streams
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud deployment platforms
• Ability to manage and balance multiple deliverables concurrently in an environment with shifting priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Experience with SQL Server, MySQL and MongoDB
