As a Learning Experience Designer/Developer, you will join a team of professionals in UKG’s Learning Experience group, focused on developing learning solutions for UKG Dimensions field consultants.

• Share your passion for developing and delivering impactful and engaging learning experiences
• Rapidly and iteratively design and develop learning content: Instructor-led and self-paced courses, hands-on exercises, guides, job aids, e-learning tutorials, simulations, knowledge assessments, webinars, and more
• Contribute to and participate in project management of learning plans, deliverables, and timelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional training teams to create and manage learning plans and deliverables
• Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate consulting and development skills, with changes in and improvements to technology and methodology
• Create, support, and validate standards for learning & development around consultative solution approaches that support delivery of successful customer outcomes
• Stay current in L&D industry trends and recommend other training media, methods and approaches to foster and implement new ideas for training content design, development, and delivery
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to determine scope, topics, and requirements for learning development projects
• Serve as facilitator, mentor, and coach to the team in supporting learning experience design tools, projects, and methodologies


• 5+ years’ experience designing and developing software training; consulting training experience preferred
• UKG Dimensions, UKG Pro, workforce management and/or HR/Payroll product knowledge
• Highly proficient with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Audacity
• Experience with learning management systems and virtual learning environments (Zoom, GoToMeeting, WebEx, etc.)
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.)
• Strong business acumen across multiple industries
• Excellent customer-facing consultation and communication skills, including the ability to gather and clarify requirements, present solutions and convey value, manage expectations, and deliver great customer service
• Able to identify issues, challenges, and gaps associated with content, training programs and materials, and to propose potential solutions
• Build and maintain productive relationships and effectively collaborate with a network of subject matter experts
• Excellent writing and presentation skills; dynamic and professional communication capabilities, both virtual and in person
• Design and develop learning content that incorporates adult learning theory, interactivity, experiential design across multiple modalities (e.g., ILT, vILT, e-learning, blended learning, etc.)
• Experience designing multimedia-based training required, visual design acumen a plus
• Conversant with community and social learning approaches and platforms
• Flexible and able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrate high attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
• Experience with project and task planning software such as Smartsheet a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree or comparable practical experience in Instructional Design, LXD, e-learning, or related field preferred
• Able to travel up to 20 percent
