The Senior Manager, Business Analysis on the IT BI/EDW (Business Intelligence / Enterprise Data Warehouse) service will lead a team of Business Intelligence (BI) Business Analysts responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing the Enterprise Data Warehouse; along with Business Intelligence platforms. In addition, this role’s direct leadership, the team will be responsible for providing input to the future BI and Reporting roadmap, ensuring that all solutions are flexible and scalable for evolving business needs. Working in conjunction with business stakeholders from various business functions like Corporate Finance, Global Delivery, Customer Support etc and partnering with other IT Managers you will be accountable for ensuring technical and process integration along with collaboratively evaluating and evolving existing solution standards and IT processes.

Key focus areas and responsibilities:
• Leading a team of 6-8 IT BI Business Analysts:
• Organizing the work of the team: planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, negotiating and reporting. Also conducting performance reviews, skill development planning, coaching and training
• Establishing and enforcing standards for BI solutions, business requirements and functional requirements
• Ensuring solution integrity through process and system integration with other teams, systems, solutions, and process areas
• Liaising between the IT BI Business Analyst team and stakeholders:
• Meeting with project teams, IT department colleagues, internal clients and external vendors to ensure needs are met
• Developing and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders and their respective requests for analysis and BI needs
• Demonstrating strong business judgment. The business analyst manager must be a tenacious decision maker, with strong business acumen and ability to bring a sound and responsible approach to business
• Supporting projects as needed:
• Participating in the work intake process and providing input to the IT portfolio and roadmap
• Facilitating a wide range of initiatives to develop and implement BI/EDW solutions for UKG.
• Serving as the primary escalation point on projects in regards to resource conflicts, BI project work assignment, BI solution and/or requirements issues.
• Demonstrating solid project management skills in collaboration with Project Manager. This role requires this skill to effectively get projects completed through others. The Sr Manager must be able to coach, mentor, and motivate their team to be their best individually as well contribute optimally to group projects, and complete projects within required time frames.


• 10+ years of hands-on experience with large-scale projects involving Data Management, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence; experience in Corporate Financial Reporting & Analytics; preferably experience with KPIs/Metrics in SaaS Industries but not required
• Demonstrated understanding of BI methodology and technologies (experience with Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, etc. is required); experience with star schema relation or multi-dimensional databases preferred (experience with Cloud DW like Azure, BigQuery is desired); proven track record of working successfully in a complex, highly integrated environment; prior experience working with data sources like ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, Oracle e-business suite) or Salesforce (Revenue, Sales) is desired
• Demonstrated ability to define and enforce data standards; working knowledge of leading-edge business intelligence best practices and concepts, e.g. predictive modelling, advanced analytics; experience leading a team of internal and external resources both onsite and in remote locations; extensive leadership and communication skills (verbal and written); experience operating in a cloud/on-premise hybrid IT landscape
• Ability to build collaborative relationships among many diverse groups, working in various time zones, who are pursuing disparate goals – including UKG upper management; high degree of professional confidence and credibility with the presence and communication skills to represent IT-related concepts effectively with executive-level management.
• Thorough understanding of one or more of the following IT Project Management methodologies/frameworks:
• Waterfall
• Agile
