As a member of our Compliance Team, this Project Manager role will be primarily focused on managing compliance activities for UKG’s payroll services. The compliance function will be aligned with Money Service Business (MSB) requirements at the state and federal level. The selected individual must have exceptional organizational and project management skills.


Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Anti-Money Laundering Compliance, the Senior Compliance Project Manager will:
• Work with government agencies, outside experts, and UKG stakeholders to develop and manage UKG through detailed project plans related to Money Service Business (MSB) compliance, including license registrations, renewals, and maintenance
• Track and manage all money transmitter license renewal and reporting obligations to meet regulatory and UKG-established deadlines
• Lead UKG preparedness for and response to periodic internal and external examinations designed to demonstrate compliance with MSB requirements
• Coordinate with Internal Audit and Compliance teams to ensure proper controls are created, implemented, and periodically evaluated
• Design cadence and process for broadly communicating team performance relative to goals
• Interpret requirements, identify, and communicate project scope, align resources, and ensure project milestones and objectives are met
• Ensure all milestones and tasks associated with multiple related work streams are tracked and reported centrally
• Make strategic recommendations to senior management and alert team of any risk associated with the projects managed
• Communicate budgetary requirements for areas of focus through senior management team

Qualifications

Requirements:
• 3-5+ years of experience in a complex program management, project management or similar role
• Ideal candidate will have prior experience in regulatory or compliance focused Project Management role
• Experience in a financial institution or other highly regulated industry a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Collaborative, with ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and prioritization skills; ability to coordinate multiple related projects simultaneously
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Exceptional attention to detail
