We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our EPIC team. This individual will help shape the new integrated vision that will propel UKG to the next level while primarily focusing on the Workforce Management as a Service value stream.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our WFM initiatives align with strategic objectives and exceed customer expectations and be responsible for overseeing the entire service or assigned product/functional area. You will take full ownership, ensuring accountability for actions, decisions, and results, working within an agile framework, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging a variety of agile methodologies. This role requires a deep understanding of integrations, API frameworks, architecture fundamentals, business requirements analysis, and effective communication skills to drive product innovation and customer value.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of designated services, encompassing its strategy, roadmap, and performance, as part of the responsibility under Service Ownership
• Collaborate with senior management to define product strategy and translate it into actionable requirements for the portfolio planning process.
• Work closely with other product management and development teams to ensure timely delivery of products that meet overarching business requirements.
• Take a proactive approach to product planning and design, ensuring that investments align with strategic direction and address customer needs effectively.
• Participate in the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, and beyond, collaborating with leadership teams across the organization.
• Foster strong cross-functional partnerships at multiple levels within the company, including engineering, marketing, sales, support, and services.
• Evaluate alternative solutions to functional and non-functional problems in collaboration with technical and product leaders, promoting creative thinking and innovation.
• Fully own and manage the assigned product/functional area, providing answers to actions taken, decisions made, and results achieved.
• Utilize agile practices and methodologies and Agile Products, to handle/manage work efficiently and effectively.
• Understand the needs of both external and internal users to develop solution to address customer needs and enhance product functionality.
• Analyze system architecture and behavior to modify or adjust products to align with the vision and strategy of the product area.
• Conduct competitive analysis to gather insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
• Gather firsthand information about customer needs and preferences through qualitative and quantitative research.
• Synthesize research findings into presentations for product leadership and gain buy-in and resources to execute product vision.
• Facilitate interactions to ensure productive and inclusive meetings, tracking outcomes and concluding with clear decisions and action items.

Qualifications

Minimum required qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, with a focus on delivering cloud-based solutions for enterprise customers.
• Proven track record of successfully driving product strategy and execution in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• We work in a hybrid model. The ability to be in our Toronto office 3 days per week is required. Local candidates are highly preferred.

• Strong technical acumen and ability to understand complex technical concepts, with experience in workforce management or related domains preferred.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
