About the role:

UKG’s Enterprise Sales Team focusses on driving and supporting our largest customers. As we expand our team across the UK, we are seeking an experienced Sales Executive, ideally with knowledge of selling to Manufacturing and Logistics organisations, to join us.

Our suite of solutions is market leading in the workforce management/human capital management space and we have incredible success with some of the world’s leading brands. By identifying and developing new enterprise business opportunities, as well as maintaining and expanding relationships with strategically important customers, this role will drive both business and professional growth for the successful applicant.

You will be responsible for:

• Working with your assigned accounts to achieve/exceed annual sales quota
• Planning and managing your personal territory, defining an account plan/sales strategy to scale and encourage further sales opportunities
• Delivering online and face to face presentations and demonstrations coordinating with internal resources as needed
• Developing and communicating effective business plans for key customers to establish UKG as a strategic long-term partner
• Creating and managing a sales pipeline through a combination of self-generated activities, conversion of incoming leads and participation in sales and marketing campaigns and events to deliver above expectation results
• Building business focused relationships, demonstrating clear understanding of industry issues and the business goals, needs and potential solutions for individual accounts
• Maintaining and developing the existing customer base through personalised value propositions to sell additional licenses, modules, upgrades, or new solutions accelerating growth within your territory
• Negotiating, liaising, and coordinating with appropriate internal resources to facilitate the sales process
• Proactively developing marketplace awareness of UKG solutions within the relevant sector, with the goal of achieving market leadership.


• Proven track record of success in driving both new business and incremental sales in a business-to-business IT/software solution environment
• Highly motivated and professional with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Understanding of end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting to closure
• Great business and financial acumen to be able to lead on a strategic vision
• Ability to identify decision makers at all levels of an organisation, building long term relationships by establishing trust and credibility
• Driven to succeed with a positive and entrepreneurial ‘can do - will do’ mentality
• Previous experience selling into Manufacturing or Logistics and Distribution services businesses would be advantageous
• Previous experience of workforce management or human capital management sales would be advantageous
