The Senior Product Management Business Analyst position at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is responsible for helping define and deliver functionality for our cutting-edge Pro mobile application. This individual will help shape the new mobile vision that will propel UKG to the next level. The Sr. Business Analyst will provide input to the overall vision of the product working alongside a Product Manager, helping to lead the day-to-day delivery, functioning as a product owner following scrum best practices. They will help ensure that product vision is delivered by taking responsibility for how features are built and by helping the cross functional team of developers, designers, and testers understand vision and priority.

In support of our culture, we are adopting a hybrid working model that mixes the flexibility of working 2 days from our Weston FL or Toronto Canada office, the balance of the week from home.

• Help lead the delivery cycle, inspiring and leading the development team with manager’s support but not authority.
• Help ensure the development team stays within time, scope, and budget by monitoring key success metrics and escalating to leadership as needed
• Problem solves delivery issues with the development team and delivery manager and provides recommendations for resolution
• Prioritizes features and requirements to meet goals on time with quality.
• Owns definition and contributes to the direction of features for a product.
• Breaks features into vertically sliced stories and clearly communicates these requirements to engineers and designers via user stories, use case scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Experience implementing and using product metrics to drive decisions.
• Manages the team’s metrics dashboard and continuously improves it.
• Participates in discovery sessions by interviewing and collaborating with internal experts in Services, Support, Development, customers and prospects
• Helping product management validate proposed value with customers and prospects while collaborating with designers and researchers
• Assists services and engineering with troubleshooting product escalations from customers.
• Participates in organizational and customer readiness activities for new product releases by reviewing learning content, working with marketing and joining knowledge transfer events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, tech, design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar role, experienced with mobile applications
• Experience working with product measurement tools and dashboards
• Analytical skills to understand product vision and break it into smaller but still valuable pieces
• History of delivering features on time with quality and value (with an ability to modify scope)
• Inclusive and supportive of others with different perspectives and backgrounds

Preferred -
• Experience working with a team abroad
• Familiarity with mapping user flows, and understanding how people use complex products or broad suites is a plus
• Expert level knowledge of digital HR systems
• Agile certification
