The Performance Development team is looking for a motivated Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test (SDET) to build and maintain one of UKG's flagship offerings, Performance Reviews. The Performance Reviews product is a cornerstone of UKG's core Human Capital Management (HCM) suite of products and encompasses everything a company needs to conduct performance reviews.

As a Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test on this team, you will:
• Implement and advance reliable and performant quality infrastructure and automation at all levels.
• Drive product quality through evangelizing the quality mindset and testing best practices in a team of Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and other SDETs.
• Evaluate and develop policies, procedures, and strategies to determine product quality and release readiness.
• Coach and mentor team members, helping them grow their technical and non-technical quality knowledge.
• Collaborate with your team, members from UX and Product Management to build the best-in-class performance reviews product in the market.
• Be able to identify trends and patterns to address customer needs and increase customer satisfaction.

In support of our culture, we will be adopting a hybrid work schedule of part time remote and part time on site each week at a UKG office. This role can be connected to our offices in Weston, FL, Atlanta or Alpharetta GA, Santa Ana or San Francisco or Irvine CA, Cleburne TX or Lowell MA. Also to our Toronto or Montreal sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience developing software systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Strong understanding of modern automated testing frameworks, tools and techniques.
• Development experience with the C# language and working knowledge of ASP.Net.
• Experience with relational database such as SQL Server or similar.
• Experience writing and debugging automated tests at all levels of testing.
• Able to discuss technical challenges with non-technical people.

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, design pattern, code reviews, build processes and testing.
• Familiarity to work with front-end such as CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Form in ASP.NET preferred.
• Familiarity to work with back-end such as SOAP web services, WCF web services, Restful APIs preferred.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
