UKG is looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our team. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for working with product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to develop, test, and implement software solutions. The Senior Software Engineers at UKG are expected to be results-oriented, have knowledge of new and legacy technologies, have knowledge of the relevant platforms and environments, and be familiar with business processes, functions, and data within their domain to provide innovative, insightful, and secure solutions.

• Design & Develop cloud native SAAS products/applications
• Work with state-of-the-art Cloud technologies
• Demonstrates accountability and ownership for high quality product releases to internal and external customers
• Attitude to focus on delivering results, keeping in mind the Big Picture – end to end prospective
• Candidate is expected to produce on high standard deliverables focusing on customer success
• Should be a good team player, builds trust with team, internal external customers
• Design and Develop scalable & high-performance, Object Oriented software products using modeling techniques and software design patterns.
• Design and develop web-based business applications
• Use and contribute to the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery process (CI/CD)
• Participates in code and design reviews to ensure quality and conformance to product standards


• Graduate/ Postgraduate in Computer Science is preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack Java development
• Strong experience using frameworks such as Spring, Angular JS, NodeJs, Javascript, AJAX and other Java presentation technologies, SOA and Rest API
• Good Experience in Object-oriented analysis, design and programming
• Good experience with JPA/JDBC frameworks
• Good experience with Unit Testing processes and tools (JUnit etc.)
• Good experience in database techniques/tools such as data modeling, PPAS, SQL, etc
• Good experience using one or more application/web containers such as Tomcat and Nginx
• Good experience with SAML, OAuth, openAM or Similar SSO based technologies
• Exposure to Agile/SCRUM methodology and related tools such as JIRA etc
• Conversant with platforms, tools and frameworks used in application development
