Description & Requirements


• Experience developing cutting-edge solutions to maximize performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities
• Develop and unit test complex coding solutions for both existing legacy systems and net new development initiatives.
• Understanding of payroll processing, tax withholding and recruiting and onboarding practices
• Proven understanding of enterprise-scale OOP software utilizing SaaS design principles
• Proven proficiency with departmental tools and procedures, i.e. TeamCity, Git, TFS, Jira, or equivalent
• Proficient with SQL and proven mastery of data structures
• Proven experience writing and implementing unit, system and integration tests
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform root-cause-analysis for system-related issues in Enterprise level software
• Demonstrated level of quality resulting in minimal amounts of rework and/or defects
• Ability to mentor and train new Developers joining the team in procedure, standards and guidelines for the department
• Proven ability to work independently to coordinate and implement solutions to basic technical issues


• Computer Science/Business undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Prior experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with software testing, both manual and automated testing including testing methodologies and patterns
• Experience writing and implementing automated tests at the integration, system, and UI level
• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• 3 - 5 performing Quality Assurance (QA) testing of a modular enterprise application
• 3 – 5 years’ experience with agile/lean development methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum
• Experience with event-driven architecture and testing patterns
