As a Senior Software Engineer on the Recruiting Team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our Applicant Tracking System by building new functionality while ensuring the quality and excellence of our products. Embedded within an agile development team, you will work side by side with other Developers, QA, and Business Analysts. You will write code using your specialized knowledge of coding techniques, tech stacks, and best practices, as well as your knowledge of technical architecture and design. In our highly collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to continually grow as an engineer and tester, and even help mentor others. Primary Responsibilities:
• Experience developing cutting-edge solutions to maximize performance, scalability, and distributed processing capabilities
• Develop, test, build and deploy coding solutions for both existing legacy systems and net new development initiatives.
• Proven understanding of enterprise-scale OOP software utilizing SaaS design principles
• Proven proficiency with departmental tools and procedures, i.e. TeamCity, Git, TFS, Jira, or equivalent
• Proficient with MongoDB and proven mastery of data structures
• Proven experience in writing and implementing unit, system, and integration tests
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform root-cause-analysis for system-related issues in Enterprise level software
• Demonstrated level of quality resulting in minimal amounts of rework and/or defects
• Ability to mentor and train new engineers joining the team in technology, tools, procedure, standards, and guidelines for the department
• Proven ability to work independently to coordinate and implement solutions to basic technical issues

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
• 3+ or more years’ experience engaging with software/test engineers on enterprise level software development projects
• 3+ years’ experience with OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms
• Experience with developing Web applications or SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions
• Experience with the development of API’s, Web Services and Forms development
• 3+ years’ experience coding in C#
• Understanding of NoSQL databases and/or Elasticsearch
• Understanding of Agile or Lean Software Development experience such as Kanban or Scrum

• Self-motivation to learn new methodologies that will enhance job performance
