About the Team:
We are the Cash Management team we cover the shared capabilities of treasury, accounting, banking, and money service compliance across our products. We are focused on driving value by ensuring consistency, enabling efficiency, and providing assurance that processes and applications are working as expected. We make sure funds are collected from our customers' bank accounts, so that we can fulfill the tax payments, garnishments, and employee payments we need to pay on their behalf. We also ensure funds are refunded to our customer when needed. We also track funds we send and receive are accounted for, by maintaining ledgers for every account we own and interact with. We also keep track of what transactions we have generated and sent to banks, and what they have received or done, to ensure collections and payments have been applied correctly.
About the Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Cash Management Team, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our treasury and accounting system by building new functionality and ensuring the quality and excellence of our products. Embedded within an agile development team, you will work side by side with other Developers, QA, and Business Analysts. You will write code using your specialized knowledge of coding techniques, tech stacks, and best practices, as well as your knowledge of technical architecture and design. In our highly collaborative environment, you will have the opportunity to continually grow as an engineer and tester, and even help mentor others. Help build the candidate application experience of tomorrow.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Design, code, test, build, and deploy solutions applying modern development patterns and best practices.
• Create/ Enhance CI/ CD pipelines and automation to reduce the development life cycle.
• Do research, build prototypes and perform demos
• Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, etc., and effectively communicate with team members and cross-functionals team following agile development ceremonies and principles.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:• Self-motivated, continuous improvement mindset and "get the job done” attitude
• 2+ years of strong C# and Unit testing experience
• Experience with Spring framework
• Experience with developing APIs
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo)
• Experience using a formal source code management system such as Bitbucket, GitHub, or Gitlab, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Experience with message-based systems and event-driven architecture
• Experience working with continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and public cloud deployment platforms
• Experience with, or understanding of, Agile/Lean Software Development practices such as Kanban or Scrum
